What about the children??

We have our first African American President and he has survived his first 100 days in office...now what? What do we do, where do we go from here?

How many times have you heard or said "if you study hard..."? Our children finally have a point of reference. No longer can someone say to them " Well President is a bit ambitious, don't you think?"

We as parents, relatives, teachers, pastors, deacons, neighbors, community members have a responsibility to our children to push them to greatness, to encourage them to stay focused, to assist them in their endeavors, and praise them in their achievements.

We have a history rich with firsts, onlies, & in spite ofs...how will our children contribute? How will we help them?

1Chronicles 12:18 Success, success to you, and success to those who help you, for your God will help you.

I think this also lies into us supporting our children and others children by going to their plays, games or whatever it is that they participate in and love.... It makes a big difference and boosts their self esteem!
